- Tree Pruning: There's more to pruning trees than most people would guess. What to remove, how much to remove, what time of year to do it- these are all questions Hubard Tree Care can answer for you. The result: healthier, better-looking shade trees and ornamentals that contribute to your property's "curb appeal". (top of page)
- Large Removals: Removal of mature trees is by its nature a hazardous activity. Our highly trained staff can and do minimize any risks involved. Again, our record speaks for itself: Hubbard Tree Care has never had a Worker's Compensation claim filed against us. Whether your large tree requires an experienced climber, a bucket truck, or even a crane to remove it, Hubbard Tree Care has you covered. (top of page)
- Crown Cleaning: As your trees mature, it often becomes necessary to get up inside the top of the tree and thin out some of the branches. This helps to maintain the shape of the tree as well as promote its health. An arborist is definitely the person for the job here. (top of page)
- Fertilization and Insect Control: Trees require fertilization as much as any of your other landscape or garden plants. Because trees absorb their nutrients primarily through the root system, Hubbard Tree Care uses a deep-root injection process which delivers more nutrients to the tree sooner than other methods. Ask us for a free consultation on the health of your treescape. Together, we can help protect your valuable shade and ornamental trees.

Hubbard Tree Care also provides insect control services. We are licensed pesticide applicators, and can work with you to determine the best plan to control ticks and other nuisance bugs utilizing the most effective and safest application methods available. (top of page) - Cabling: As trees grow, they spread. Sometimes that spread is too much for the tree to handle, and it splits (usually down the main trunk). By installing structural cables, much of the strain can be taken off of large limbs, preventing a split trunk which usually kills the tree. (top of page)
- Yard Extensions: We will work with you to determine, based on your goals, which trees should be addressed through pruning or removal to best give your yard the look and feel you are aiming for. (top of page)
- Storm Damage: Trees fall, causing everything from a minor inconvenience to a major safety hazard. If you have a downed or partially downed tree on your property, give us a call and we will gladly address the problem quickly and efficiently. If there is a partially downed tree on your property, please keep clear of it. For your safety, call in a professional. Partially downed trees are much more dangerous to remove than they appear.
